Factory

MECHANISATION AS AN ARCHITECTURAL RESOURCE

The project is a large industrial warehouse with a large part of its surface area intended for assembly and storage areas that require more space and high ceilings. For this purpose a diaphanous, 20,000 square metre warehouse was created, complete with two 26 metre wide gates. Attached to this large space is a 4,800 square metre building for offices and staff areas such as changing rooms, meeting rooms and a kitchen.

A preliminary job was prepared for the future user of the warehouse that was crucial to the final result of the project. The project’s design was thus adapted to the demands of the activity and the factory’s production without ever losing sight of the company’s corporate image. The structure was also developed in a workshop so that the pieces could be more quickly and effectively assembled.

The result is a space of large dimensions, made in a short timeframe and with the company’s standards ever present: both the assembly and production needs as well as the image and design of the adjoining offices.
